Lucas Arts and Bioware have teamed up to make a MMO game called Star Wars: The Old Republic which is set three thousand years before the rise of Darth Vader. While details are limited, on www.swtor.com they have plenty of information to get you hyped and also a series of videos from Master Gnost-Dural, who re-examines the galaxy’s events. These videos are definitely something that should be checked out, as it tells you how the galaxy was first divided.

Hold On To Your Saved Files From Mass Effect!
Written by Bobby Field on February 23, 2009 – 3:00 pm -
From the earlier Debut Trailer of Mass Effect 2, you can see that Commander Shepard was killed in action. Don’t let this fool you though, and hang on to that Mass Effect content.
Videogamer spread the word that BioWare community managers said not once, but three time to hang on to your saved files from Mass Effect. This quote was taken from Mass Effect community forums:
“This is just your first taste of Mass Effect2. We are not yet discussing the details of the game,” stated BioWare community coordinator Chris Priestly. However… don’t delete your Mass Effect 1 saves yet.”
This kind of reaction only says one thing; that your character from Mass Effect will likely carry over to Mass Effect 2. It maybe also saying that Shepard’s death may be later on in the game, or may even be exaggerated. One can only hope that the games major character really was not killed in action, and is truly just a cover up.
