Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Teaser Trailer

The GDC is almost at a close and Activision has decided to finally release the first trailer for there upcoming Call of Duty game called Modern Warfare 2. Also on modernwarfare2.com they have the trailer, plus a special analyze button that allows you to look closely at things to pick out the information. So far there have been 4 perks found around 1: 10, and also a teddy bear wich symbolizes the Russians. There is also a statue in the background of one of the slides which is from Rio de Janeiro. So could this possibly be the location? We can only hope. There are a few more mesages in the teaser. So if you have the time, i suggest going to there website to analyze. Battlefield Online Debut Trailer

I really don’t know what to think of this at the moment, though it seems this years Battlefield will be an online only game. Will have to wait until more news spills out.

Resistance 2 Review

Insomniac games returns with another installment to the Resistance series. Resistance 2 returns with bigger creatures and a wide range of environments to play in. Graphics have also been updated and the story is better than ever. Fans of the series will see big improvements.

Guitar Hero Greatest Hits Teaser

I’m not sure what to think about this. Activision has just released a teaser trailer for  “Guitar Hero Greatest Hits”. This title will include the most famous and infamous songs from Guitar Hero I, II, III, and Rock the 80’s.  Sounds alright, but I hope they aren’t thinking about charging full price for this one. “Guitar Hero Greatest Hits” will be available on the PS2, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 this Summer.

Need for Speed: Shift Screenshots

It’s that time of the year again, looks like EA is suiting up to release yet another Need for Speed game. Need for Speed: Shift will be available on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and PSP sometime this year. Street Fighter IV - Review

Capcom returns once again with the biggest name in all of fighting. Street Fighter is back with the 4th installment of the series (without accounting for updated versions). This time around, Capcom makes a game that not only fans of the classic 20 year franchise can enjoy, but a game that anyone looking for fun can put to use.

Weekly Releases: Week of March 1

It’s now March, and it’s another strong week in video game releases.  This is especially true for strategy game fans.  Both Halo Wars on Xbox 360 and Empire Total War on PC hit shelves this week.  These are two very different strategy games, however.  Halo Wars is more casual, but that makes it fit a console better, and Empire is far deeper, appealing to the hardcore PC crowd.  Another game arriving this week is Tom Clancy’s HAWX, an extension of the Tom Clancy series.  This game is a flight combat game with some interesting possibilities to connect with the other Tom Clancy games like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.  The final highlight release of the week is the cleverly abbreviated Phantasy Star Portable on PSP (PSP on PSP…yeah?), a remake of the classic Sega RPG.  For the rest of the releases, hit the jump.

Weekly Releases: February 23

With the return of Daily Gamer Blog comes the return of Weekly Releases!  Let the fanfare begin!

Ok, that’s over with.  This week is a strong week for this article to make its return.  There are several interesting games to choose from, no matter what genre you prefer.  Of particular note are Star Ocean: The Last Hope arriving on Xbox 360, providing  Japanese RPG goodness to gamers everywhere.  Then there is Killzone 2, bringing a truly strong shooter to PS3.  Also, puzzle fans can look forward to both Puzzle Quest: Galactrix and Peggle Dual Shot on DS this week.  Finally, a game I have been looking forward to immensely, Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard, is coming out in its parodious glory.  It’s weeks like this that make me laugh at the idea that good games only come out in the Fall and Winter.  For the full release list, hit the jump.
